Spring clean

I don't know what happened. I just decided to do a big spring clean in the wardrobe. Omg I have a lot of clothes I don't need anymore! Charity next!!

The empty home-I will share my feelings

This is the day that i went to the doctor and she said i was most likely allergic.

I went home and new what had to be done.

I gave the cats a treat- half my icecream.

The hardest part is: coming home, opening the door, no cats waiting for you. Waking up, no cats scratching the door and mjauing till you wake up. Sitting on the couch, no cats are jumping up to get a cuddle anymore. The foodbowls, no need to refill them, they are still full of food. The smell of a fresh toilet, I prefer the smell of cat poo. There are millions of little things. They are all hard to cope with.

Broken heart

I know they will have a great home,

i know they will take good care of them,

i know they will miss us...

but i also know they will forget us!

I cannot describe how hard this is, knowing if you keep them it might get worse. Our health is importent and i don't want it to get worse. But at the same time...this is just not some cats! They were our cats, they were the best, funniest and most cuddliest cats you could ever find.
This is hard. I have a lump in my throat, tears in my eyes and a snuffly nose.
I'm on the boat to hand them over to their new family, a lovely family outside Stockholm that will take good care of them i'm sure. They have a huge house and a garden.

But they will forget us...that hurts!

While david is hot and sexy washing the car, me and my dad made a bedframe. Not totally from scratch, but still... it's going to be painted and a few more things to be done. I will show a picture when it's done.

Low GI dinner with friends

Tonight we had Hanna & Johan for a visit. As always it's great company. For dinner David served our favourite: Italian meatballs with green beans. YAAAAAMMMIII! the night goes on and we play English buzz and talk and drink and laugh! I just löööööv it!!

Jealousy it is

While I am home cleaning and doing the laundry, these little maggots are going to ESPAÑA!!! they don't make it any easier for me when they ask me to give them a lift to the airport! Daaaah... JEALOUS! but what I really really feel deep down inside is happiness, there is nothing better then getting away from reality. Get away to relax and get a nice tan. And there is noone else that needs this trip more then they do! I'm happy for them! vivir la vida Xxoxxo

This is on the menu tonight. A glas of White wine on the balcony with the best company of Josefin.J. I also made a low GI dinner: squash tagliatelle with prawnsauce, yum yum. We also played with the cats. I had a lovely evening!

The feathers

They are everywhere! A walk around town and this is what I seeneverywhere, feathers feathers feathers... And dressed uP children. I remember that this was a fun fun day in the young days, that I usually spent with my two cousins Elin & Emma. Great memories.

Workaholic

Every chance I get, I work. This morning in the museums reception. I'm loving the view of the boutique.

The calm before the storm.

The streets of Visby are at the moment empty. In a month the streets will look completely different. They will be packed! And the fun will begin! Just can't wait.

Now i understand

Now, tonight, it finally got into my head what is going to happen. My cats...they will soon not be with me anymore, and I realised that now. I'm sad, so sad that I just don't want to think about it, so sad it's making me crazy, so sad I just cannot sleep. Our home won't be the same without them.
They will be missed ever single day.

Happy easter

I'm not sure if this is done in Ireland with the twigs and feathers? After 6 years of living there i can't remember. It's right what they say, memory of a goldfish!! Anyway, david came home one day with this lovely bouquet of twigs. The best of all is that he pocket them himself. I just have the best husband to be... EVER!

Low GI Brunch

I woke up at 11.30 and I cannot believe it. I've never slept for so long in ages.

I suppose the rest was needed, but got to get up because the day is fully planned already.

But of course i start the day with a delicious bluecheese/sundried tomatoe omelette! SAY CHEESE!

They are here, the 'blue-sipps' as i call them. When they grow, spring is really here. And it is, the sun has been out all day and it has been nice and warm. Too bad i've been inside all day!! But the day us going to continue with some lovely dinner and deserts of all kind. One of them is that Karin is coming over for a glas of wine!! So i'm not bitter, not at all!! Jopp jopp!!

A nice hot shower is waiting. An extra strong cup of coffee is already poured for me, the princess is coming today, My cats are screaming outside the door and still i have no interest in getting up!! Just too bloody tired!

This is tonight!!

We have had a great day in work today. Preparing a big buffé for an insurance company that came to the museum for a meeting and then for some dinner in our organic café. All the food we served comes from local farms. It's lovely and great fun but all i keep thinking of is that our CROWNPRINCESS is coming tomorrow!!

On a mission!

We're on a mission to get some pretty flowers for when the princess is coming tomorrow! It Will look gorgeous!
